about collecting your
FREE Acorn Pack Antenatal!
If you are pregnant and live in Hillingdon, you are eligible to receive an Acorn Pack Antenatal.
Acorn Pack Antenatal is FREE!
Acorn Pack Antenatal is a good-quality zipped book bag - with a useful handle - just the right size for your hand-held maternity notes that you will be given at your first (booking) appointment with your midwife. You will need your notes to collect your Acorn Pack Antenatal - see here for more information about the collection process.
The magazine inside features local information and evidence-based health information alongside articles about pregnancy, birth and babies. This magazine will be available to read here, on the Acorn Pack website.
Acorn Pack Antenatal also contains relevant free gifts and samples.
The content of Acorn Pack Antenatal will develop throughout the year, as more businesses come on board and also in response to the feedback from the parents who receive them. This will be collected in a variety of ways, including direct feedback via contact us, competition surveys online and workshops at Hillingdon Children's Centres. This ongoing dialogue will ensure that the packs are as relevant and useful as possible.
The magazine will be refreshed annually, though short print runs mean businesses will be able to add their advertisements throughout the year, alongside additional content.
Acorn Pack Antenatal will be available the week after the launch to health professionals, which is taking place during Breastfeeding Week on 22nd June 2011 at the third annual Hillingdon Breastfeeding Conference.
Selected Children's Centres across Hillingdon have Acorn Pack Antenatal available for collection:
You will need to bring your hand-held maternity notes as proof that you are pregnant and live in Hillingdon. Please don't ask for an Acorn Pack Antenatal unless you have your maternity notes with you, because the Children's Centre staff won't be able to register you without seeing them.
Yes, please do! You are only able to collect one Acorn Pack Antenatal during the course of your pregnancy, but the latest edition of the magazine will always be available online (and, who knows, the first edition may well be a collectors' item in future - keep it safe!).
